I cannot export the BCD via bcdedit ( bcdedit /export TempBcd), I get the error message " The boot configuration data store could not be opened. I am able to fix the problem via instruction: bcdboot D:windows /s C: ,my windows 7 is bootable now. However, If I leave disk 0 unformatted and apply Windows 7 image on disk 1, partition 2(partition 1 with drive letter C is for System,partition 2 with drive letter D is for Windows), I got the error message " Failure whenĪttempting to copy boot " after typing bcdboot D:\Windows.ĭoes bcboot only work on disk 0? or any of my setting wrong? When I leave disk 1 unformatted and apply Windows 7 image on disk 0,partition 2 (partition 1 with drive letter C for System,partition 2 with drive letter Dfor Windows), bcdboot works fine(bcdboot D:\Windows).
